Perfect Manhattan Cocktail

A classic whiskey drink stirred with both sweet and dry vermouth, bitters, and a cherry on top.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces whiskey or bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 bar spoonful cherry juice from Maraschino or Luxardo cherries
  • 2 Maraschino or Luxardo cherries, for garnish

Steps

  1. Add ice cubes to a lowball glass, then pour in the whiskey, vermouths, bitters, and cherry juice.
  2. Stir until thoroughly chilled.
  3. Finish with cherries and serve.
