Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole

Beef, sausage, and pepperoni under a cheesy baked pizza-crust lid.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1 cup chopped pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided
  • 26 oz pasta sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 13.8 oz refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 425°F. Brown the ground beef and sausage in a large skillet; drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in the pepperoni, flour, 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning, and pasta sauce. Simmer briefly until thickened.
  3. Spread the meat mixture in a baking dish and top with 1 1/2 cups mozzarella.
  4. Cover with the pizza dough. Brush with oil, then sprinkle with the remaining Italian seasoning, remaining mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is deep golden and the filling is bubbling. Rest a few minutes, then slice.
