Frozen Old Fashioned

Slushy bourbon old fashioned blended with frozen cherries and orange, bitters, and simple syrup—summer-ready classic.

Ingredients

• 2 oz bourbon
• 1/4 cup frozen pitted cherries
• 4 frozen orange wedges, peels removed (about 1/2 orange)
• 3 dashes bitters
• 1 tablespoon simple syrup
• 1 1/2 cups ice
• Orange slice and cherries, for garnish

Steps

1. Blend the bourbon, cherries, oranges, bitters, syrup, and ice 30 to 45 seconds until slushy (add 1 to 2 tablespoons water if too thick).
2. Pour into a lowball glass; garnish with orange and cherries.
